EMPTY FRUIT BUNCH BRIQUETTES (EFBB)

With over several decades of designing and developing high-efficiency biomass processing machines, we have perfected a proprietary process of shredding the palm oil empty fruit bunch biomass, drying them and then briquetting them ready for direct replacement of coal used in power plants.

Shredding

Shredder Systems: We have remodeled conventional shredding machines to help accelerate the drying process and increases the density of the briquettes.

Drying

Our specially designed drying process uses half the size of conventional Rotary Dryers with less than 30% of the Heat Requirement. It also creates less dust in the air flow since particle motion is minimized.

Briquetting

Our Briquetting/Pelleting Process is unique in many ways:

Briquetting

This innovations result in lower energy consumption with higher throughput, leading to process cost savings and reduced maintenance.

1.The materials are pre-treated in a unique process to improve moldability and to consolidate the desired shape of the Briquettes.

2.Our proprietary briquetting process is designed to develop a higher Gross Calorific Value and better form stability. Resistance against moisture take-up post-production is also improved.

3.Our dies and rollers are specially designed to reduce slip, increase pressure and ensure less resistance in entering the die for improved processability.
